Spaghetti is always a family favorite because who doesn’t love noodles in every form? No, just kidding!

Spaghetti is easy to make and you can choose more than 10 sauces to serve it. Start from the most common, bolognese, carbonara, Alfredo, pesto, aglio o lio, marinara, and so on.

In this recipe, we want to show you how to match your spaghetti with a rocket or arugula. Rocket has a fresh and peppery flavor and usually served as a salad or mix it with egg and cheese menu.

You can grow rockets by yourself even if you are a beginner gardener.

Ingredients

400 g dried spaghetti3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil5 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)2 fresh red chillies (finely minced)400 g peeled raw prawns (tail on if preferred)1 cup prawn, fish or chicken stock2 tbsp sundried tomatoes (finely minced)2 tbsp lemon juice2 cups rocket1/2 tsp salt (to taste)1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Steps

Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water according to the packet instructions.Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large frying pan.When hot, add garlic & chilli.As garlic begins to colour, add prawns & sauté for 1 min.Add stock & minced sundried tomatoes, simmer for 2 mins.When pasta is a few mins short of al dente, drain (reserving some of cooking water) & toss the spaghetti with the sauce.Add lemon juice, rocket, enough reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce a bit, salt & black pepper.Stir well & taste to adjust seasoning.Divide into 4 plates, garnish with chilli flakes, black pepper or more rocket & serve immediately.
