Prawn Tikka

Prawn Tikka Ingredients

20 Queen prawns shelled and cleanedRed chilli powder to tasteSalt to taste1 1/2 teaspoon paprika powder1 tablespoon garlic paste1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder1/2 teaspoon cumin powder1/4 teaspoon Chaat Masala1 teaspoon lemon juice1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder1 1/2 tablespoon oilOrange food colour as required ( optional)

Steps

Marinate the above for an hour, and then place onto skewers.Grill on the top shelf until done ( about 2 to 5 min on each side)Then place over a flame to char ,( I used a gas flame. Omit this step if you are going to braai the prawns ).Place into a serving plate.Pour Garlic oil over.Garnish with parsley.Serve with lemon.Enjoy.

For The Garlic Oil

Take 2 tablespoon soft butter1 tablespoon garlic paste1 teaspoon paprika1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Steps making garlic oil

Heat over a low flame just to melt and warm the butter.Switch off immediately.
