Bombay Style Tawa Pulao Ingredients 2 cups basmati rice2-3 tbsp butter1 tsp cumin seeds1 medium onion6-7 garlic cloves1 inch ginger1 cup tomato puree3 tsp pav bhaji masala1/2 tsp chili powder3/4 tsp paprika1 tsp salt1 carrot2 colored peppersHandful of green beans150 gms mushroom200 gms tofu (optional)Handful coriander leavesHandful mint leaves2-3 tbsp lemon juice Instructions Cook the rice al dente with a pinch of turmeric for that beautiful golden colour.In a large wok (tawa) on medium heat, add 3 tbsp butter, cumin seeds & allow it to splutter.Add the onions, garlic-ginger & Sautee until translucent.Next add the tomato puree & the spices (pav bhaji masala, chili powder, paprika & salt). Sautee for 4-5 mins.Now add all the veggies & tofu & cook until partially softened.Add the cooked rice & stir fry on a medium high flame for 2-3 mins.Finally, garnish with herbs & lemon juice.
