Tabouli, also spelled as tabbouleh, is a Middle Eastern vegetarian salad made with bulgur wheat, fresh parsley, tomatoes, onion, mint, and lemon juice. It is a healthy and flavorful salad that is a popular side dish in many Middle Eastern countries. The bulgur wheat is first soaked in water until it becomes tender and then mixed with chopped vegetables, herbs, and a tangy dressing made with lemon juice, olive oil, and salt.

The parsley and mint give the salad a fresh and vibrant taste, while the tomatoes and onion add a sweet and savory flavor. Tabouli is often served alongside grilled meats, hummus, and pita bread, and is also commonly used as a filling for wraps and sandwiches.
