Creamy Pasta And Ground Beef

Ingredients (4-5 Servings)

around 250-300g pasta1 tbsp olive oilaround 350g ground beef1 onion diced2 garlic cloves minced2 tbsp all-purpose flour2 cups beef stock1 jar tomato sauce1/4 cup heavy creamsalt and peppergenerous sprinkles of dried oregano, paprika1/2 cup cheddarFor garnish: cheddar and fresh herbs (basil or parsley)

Steps

While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat and cook the ground beef and crumble it.Once cooked, set aside and cook the onion and garlic in the same skillet on medium heat for 2-3 minutes until translucent.Add in the dry herbs and flour, whisking it for a minute until lightly browned.Mix in the beef stock and tomato sauce and bring to a boil, then simmer around 8 minutes until the sauce thickens.Stir in the heavy cream and the cheddar until melted. Add the beef and the cooked and drained pasta, season with salt and pepper to taste.Give it a final toss and serve warm with more cheddar and fresh herbs. Enjoy!
