Sift icing sugar & cocoa powder. Add vanilla & milk, mix all together.MethodWarm 1/2 cup milk. Stir in yeast and 1 tbsp sugar. Cover the bowl and set aside for 5-10 minutes.In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and remaining 2 tbsp sugar. Add the melted butter, vanilla extract & yeast mixture.Mix all together then pour in remaining 1/4 cup milk.Knead for a few minutes until you have a soft dough. Cover and let the dough rise for an hour.Roll your dough out on a floured surface to about 1/2” thick. We used a round cutter and a bottle cap to cut out the centre of the donuts.Place cut out donuts on a tray, cover and let them rise for 30 minutes.Fry the donuts on med/high for about 1 minute on each side until they turn a brown colour.
