Laksa Paste Ingredients 2 big red chilies2 Tbsp dried shrimp4 candlenuts5 cloves garlic1 medium onion1 stalk lemongrass3 cm galangal3 cm fresh turmeric1 tsp fermented shrimp paste (belacan)1200 ml water400 ml coconut milkFish sauceSugar and salt, to tasteCooking oil Other Ingredients NoodleVegetablesHerbs (coriander leaves, parsley, or basil)Tofu puffSteamboat add-ons Instructions 1. Saute the laksa paste in hot oil. Stir it till fragrant and changed into darker colour.2. Add the water followed coconut milk. Stir it continously to avoid lumpy texture of soup.3. Add the sesonings; fish sauce, sugar, and salt.4. Add the tofu puff. Stir then bring to boil.5. In a bowl, put all the other ingredients, then pour the soup.6. Sprinkle with herbs.
