Ingredients 2 cups wheat flour1/2 cup gram flour1 tsp red chili flakes1 tsp sesame seeds1/2 tsp turmeric1/2 tsp carom seedsSalt to taste1 green chili1 inch ginger4-5 garlic cloves1 cup fenugreek leaves1/4 cup onion choppedwater as required (to knead dough)2 tsp oil Method Clean fenugreek leaves. Leaves can be chopped or kept whole.Roughly chop green chili, garlic and ginger.In a large mixing bowl take wheat flour and chickpea flourAdd chili flakes, turmeric, carom seeds and salt.Add garlic, green chili and ginger.Add fenugreek leaves.give a rough mix making sure the spices are combined well.Add some water and knead the dough.knead the dough to smooth and soft texture like of chapathi dough.add 2 tsp of oil and knead the dough for 5 more minutes.Add sesame seeds into the dough.now pinch a medium sized ball dough, roll and flatten it.also dust with some wheat flour.further roll it in a thin circle like chapathi or paratha.now on a hot tawa place the rolled thepla and cook for a minute.When the base is partly cooked, flip the methi theplaalso brush oil / ghee and press slightly.finally, serve methi paratha with raita and pickle and a hot cup of tea.
