Lebanese Spiced Rice Ingredients 1 cup parboiled rice200g ground beef2 cups chicken broth or 2 cups water with 1 chicken bouillon1 small onion2 tsbp oil or ghee 1 tbsp ghee1 tsp 7 spice1/2 tsp cinnamon1 tsp salt1/2 cup toasted nutsChopped Parsley for garnish Direction 1: soak rice for at least 1 hour2: chop small onion then set in the side.3: in a pot add oil or ghee then add the ground beef and cook.4: when ground beef fully cooked add the chopped onion, spices, salt and mix.5: add rice with chicken broth and mix.6: when start boiling cover and cook on low heat for about 10 to 15 minutes.7: while waiting for the rice to finish chop parsley and toast some nuts.8: when rice done add the 1 tbsp of ghee and mix you can add more if you like.9: pour into a plate then top with nuts and parsley.10: serve with side of salad or yogurt.
