Download ImageIngredients8 tbsp peanut butter (smooth or chunky, I prefer the latter)2 tbsp sambal of choice or Sriracha/chilli sauce1 tsp brown sugar or coconut palm sugar (grated)2 tbsp hot water1 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kicap manis)1 tsp tamarind or lime/lemon juice1/2 tsp garlic powder1/2 tsp onion powder1/4 tsp ginger powder1/2 tsp salt (to taste)1 tbsp whole roasted peanuts (coarsely chopped, for garnish)StepsDissolve sugar using hot water in a small bowl.Combine the rest of the ingredients (except roasted peanuts) in a big bowl, add sugar mixture & mix well.Taste to adjust seasoning (balance of sweet, sour & slightly spicy) & add more water to adjust consistency (if needed)Pour into individual serving bowls, sprinkle roasted peanuts & serve with protein, carbs or vegetables of choice.
