Ingredients Carrots 2.5 kg cut in round slicesMilk 1 literSugar 1 cup or less if desiredButter or desi ghee 1 cupCardamoms fewdried milk powder 1 cup @nidoarabiakhoya 1/2 cup u can make homemade tooDry fruits for garnishing Home Made Khoya ghee 3 tablespoonsfresh milk 3/4 cupdry milk powder 1 cup @nidoarabiacooking cream 3 tablespoons Method Wash & Peel carrots with peeler & then cut them in round shapeBoil carrots with milk on medium flame until tender and easily mashable This will take about 30-40 min until milk is completely evaporatedMash them with hand mortar they will be easily mashed once they are soft & tender after boilingNow add butter & then add few cardamomsKeep cooking with wooden spoon for few minutes then add sugar & cook again on slow to medium flame flame for 30 minAdd dried milk powder alsoKeep cooking until the ghee comes upThe color will change from raw orange to dark reddish in colorAdd khoya & mix wellGarnish with nutsFor home made khoyaIn sauce pan add ghee & then add cooking cream & stir for few min on medium flameThen add fresh milk & stir again for few minFinally add dry milk powder and keep stirring until mixture starts to thicken & leave base of pan , will take 10-12 min of continuous stirringSet it in pan until it’s firm & ready to use Source : www.instagram.com
