Bibimbap is a Korean mixed rice dish that literally translates to “mixed rice with meat and assorted vegetables.” The dish is typically served in a hot stone bowl and is made up of rice, sautéed vegetables (such as spinach, mushrooms, and carrots), seasoned beef, a fried egg, and gochujang sauce (a spicy and slightly sweet chili paste).

The ingredients are arranged in separate sections on top of the rice, and then mixed together before eating. Bibimbap is a popular and filling meal in Korean cuisine and can be customized to include different types of meat or vegetables.
