Download ImageMushroom Swiss Burger IngredientsBeef Patties :600 g ground beef1 tsp onion powder1 tsp garlic powder1 tsp sweet paprika powder1/2 tsp cayenne powder1/2 tsp ground black pepper1 tsp saltMushroom Sauce :200 g white or button mushrooms (sliced)1 tbsp butter1 tbsp AP flour1/4 tsp garlic powder1/4 tsp onion powder1/2 beef bouillon cube1/2 tsp salt (to taste)1/4 tsp ground black pepper (to taste)1/2 cup water (or more)Burgers :4 slices Swiss cheese4 buns of choice (brushed with butter & lightly toasted)1 tbsp mayonnaise (divided, optional)Steps To MakeMix all the ingredients for the beef patties in a big bowl & form 4 equal discs, set aside.Melt butter in a pan over medium high heat, add mushrooms & cook for 5 mins.Reduce heat to medium, add the rest of the ingredients & cook for 10 mins until softened & browned or sauce has reached desired consistency (add more water if necessary)Taste to adjust seasoning & remove from heat.Heat a grill pan over medium high, add patties, cook for 8 mins on one side, then flip & cook for 5 mins on the other side, until cooked through.Top each patty with a slice of cheese in the last min of cooking (cover with a lid)Remove patties & place on toasted bun bottom (smeared with mayo, or not)Top patties with sauteed mushrooms, place the bun top & serve with sides or sauces of choice.
