Download ImageWatch Video Spicy Fenugreek Pancakes Ingredients1 cup of chick pea flour1/4 cup chapatti flour1/2 cup frozen chopped fenugreek leaves (or fresh if you have them)1/2 cup plain yogurt1 green chilli finely chopped (deseeded if you wish)1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves – with stalks1 tsp salt (or to taste)1 tsp sugar (to balance out the bitterness of fenugreek)1/4 tsp turmeric powder1/2 tsp cumin powder1/2 tsp coriander powder1/2 tsp red chilli powder (optional)3/4 tsp minced ginger1/4 tsp ajwain seeds (crushed with the palms of your hand to release the flavour)1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda11/4 cup of waterSteps1 Add all the ingredients together in a bowl and whisk together to make a batter, adding the water gradually2 Heat a non stick fry pan (medium heat) and add a tsp of oil3 Ladle the batter onto the pan and spread into a circle using the back of the spoon4 Add some more drops of oil around the pancake (to help it peel off) once the pancake is bubbling on one side flip the pancake over and cover with a lid for a few minutes (this will help it cook quicker)5 Flip over a few times and allow it cook on both sides for a few minutes6 Enjoy for breakfast/lunch/dinner or as a snack with a steaming hot cup of chai Source : www.instagram.com
