Download ImageWatch Video IngredientsDough recipe*4 cups flour2 cup warm water1/4 cup oil1 tsp saltMix all ingredients together till you form soft dough then let it rest for about 15 minutes.filling *1/2 kg ground beef1/2 cup chopped parsley1 small chopped onion1 tsp salt1tsp 7 spice1/2 tsp black pepper1 tbsp olive oilYogurt sauce *6 cups yogurt (1.5kg)3 cups water1 beaten egg or 2 tbsp corn starch2 tsp salt or moregarnish *Cooked minced garlic with some olive oil and cilantro Or Fresh parsley Or Dried mintDirection1: make the dough first by mixing the ingredients together till forming soft dough, then cover and rest for 10 minutes or more.2: add oil to a pot with the ground beef mix with the spices when the ground beef brown, add in the onion and parsley mix and cook for another minute.3: cut the dough into 4 pieces, roll then use small cookie cutter to cut small round dough4: fill then close when done place on a tray dusted with flour so they don’t stick freeze shish barak or use right away, if you freeze shish Barak take out before 15 minutes then drop in the yogurt sauce don’t defrost.5: start on making the yogurt sauce by mixing yogurt, water, beaten egg and salt mix good then turn the heat on and keep stirring no stopping at all, when start bubbling thats when you stop.6: add shish barak to the yogurt sauce, lower the heat and cook for couple minutes till shish barak float to the top.7: garnish with fresh parsley, dry mint or cooked garlic with cilantro with some olive oil8: add some toasted nuts Source : www.instagram.com
