Download ImageCurrywurst (German Curry Sausages) Ingredients8 good quality sausages of choice1 tbsp butter1/2 cup onion (finely diced)1 tsp honey1 cup tomato ketchup1/4 tsp baking soda5 tsp curry powder2 tsp smoked paprika or cayenne2 tsp Worcestershire sauce2 tsp balsamic vinegar5 tbsp beef brothStepsHeat butter in a pot on medium high, add onion & honey, cook till onion starts to caramelise.Add ketchup, cook for 2 mins, add baking soda, continuously stir for 2 mins till no longer bubbly.Reduce heat to low, add powdered spices, stir & cook for 2 mins.Add Worcestershire sauce, vinegar & broth, stir & cook for 2 mins.Taste to adjust seasoning & cook till sauce reaches desired consistency (add some water to thin it, if needed) then set aside.Grill or pan fry sausages till they reach desired doneness, cut into bite-sized pieces, pour sauce on top (sprinkled with more curry powder & chilli flakes, optional), serve with fries or bread & sauerkraut (optional) Source : www.instagram.com
